It is worth noting, however that home that professional home maintenance during lockdown will be allowed but will be limited and only take place following strict social distancing guidelines. For example, repairs can be carried out if necessary, but any damage caused by or in fixing the repair will need to be fixed by yourself, all surfaces that tradesperson touches must be sanitised, and social distancing measures should be observed at all times.

Tend to Your Garden

If you are lucky enough to have a garden, then chances are you will have been getting a lot of use out of it these past few months as it is one of the few places you can go outdoors with no social distancing guidelines. So, why not take the time now to show your garden some attention and tend to it while you have a lot of time to do so?

Take on A New Hobby

What better time to take up a new hobby than during a time when you are a home for prolonged periods of time? Being stuck at home may be a dream for some people, but for others, it is a recipe for boredom. So, why not curb some of that boredom with a new, productive hobby?

For example, taking up art is s hobby that is low cost and that you can spend some time teaching yourself and practising at home. You can also have most of the basic materials you would need, such as a sketchbook and pencils, delivered to your home. Or, why not consider knitting, sewing, cooking, baking, gaming, or even learning a language as a new hobby?

There are many things that you can do at home to entertain yourself. While binging Netflix all day, every day is still very much an option, why not choose to use that time to teach yourself something more productive? Who knows, you may even find your next big thing hobby through it all.
