Emily’s Interiors Names Jackie Cuneo As Designer
New designer offers creative ideas & experience
Emily’s Interiors, an award-winning firm with locations in Framingham and Shrewsbury that provides boutique design services, decor and design materials to homeowners, businesses and interior designers, has named Jackie Cuneo to its design team.
Cuneo’s interest in building and design goes back to her high school years, where she obtained hands-on building experience and a Construction Technology degree from Blackstone Valley Technical High School in Upton. Cuneo obtained a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, with a concentration in Pre-Architecture, from the University of New Haven. She received an OSHA 10 certification 2014 and is pursuing getting her OSHA 30 certification to keep up to date with constantly changing safety regulations required by job sites.
“I always love collaborating with other designers because you get to bounce ideas off each other and learn from their own experiences,” said Cuneo, who will be working out of the Shrewsbury showroom. “I am excited to work with everyone here at Emily’s and be another individual to bring new ideas and solutions to each project. This being my first real designer position out of college, I am also thrilled to start gaining new knowledge and experiences!”
Emily’s Interiors was founded by Joseph Kupstas, who has been in the design/build/remodeling industry for more than 30 years. He created Emily’s Interiors because he saw a need in the industry to help homeowners make sound design decisions and source the products and materials they need to redesign their space.
