What began as a partnership rooted in mentorship and empowering women in the industry has grown into something far bigger: Legacy Distribution’s acquisition of global distribution powerhouse Vision Films.
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1, 2026 / — This extraordinary combination brings together the unique strengths of both companies, uniting their content portfolios and operations into a single distribution entity. Dana Webber, CEO and Managing Partner of Legacy Distribution, will be the CEO of the expanded company operating under “Vision Films.” Lise Romanoff, Founder and Managing Director of Vision Films, will transition into a consultant role; she will represent Vision Films at AFM in November. Vision will continue to offer acclaimed new releases alongside the robust merged libraries of features, TV series, documentaries, specials, and music programming.
Vision’s deep library spans decades and includes award-winning and critically acclaimed independent films from all genres, television series, documentaries, narrative features, and specialty programming that has been distributed across theatrical, digital, and broadcast platforms to audiences in more than 190 countries. It is a prestigious VOD aggregator and direct supplier to all major global TVOD, SVOD, and AVOD platforms.

Dana is the right leader for this next chapter of Vision’s library, to seamlessly take care of my producers, company, and everyone who helped me build it. I could not find a better partner to carry on and grow my legacy (pun intended),” shares Lise Romanoff.
“Vision Films’ global reach and powerful operations position us to advance our mission of delivering diverse and compelling content to audiences worldwide,” says Dana Webber. “Lise is widely respected across the media industry for building a leading global content distribution business through sheer grit and vision.”
