NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 31, 2026 — Business advisor and The Growth Nerd founder Brian Felker today announced the publication of Operational Modernization: Closing the Continuity Gap, a new business book introducing Operational Modernization as a management discipline for the AI era.
The book addresses a problem hiding between an organization’s functions: companies have built sophisticated disciplines for manufacturing, quality and software development, but the work crossing between them often remains unmanaged.
Felker calls this the Continuity Gap—the organizational space where ownership becomes unclear, information fragments, systems fail to connect and employees compensate manually for gaps in the business around them.
