The marriage of Hanna Jaff and Francisco de Borja Queipo

Hanna Jaff a Mexican but born in San Diego married The Most Excellent Lord Francisco de Borja Queipo, Marquess of Guadiaro in Spain married civilly last September 2022 in Madrid and religiously on February 2023 in Mexico City. Archbishop Carlos Garfias Merlos married them. The couple have chosen not to share photographs of their private ceremony.

Borja Queipo was born December 10, 1987, in Madrid, Grandee of Spain, Marquess of Guadiaro in Spain, and Knight of the Royal Maestranza of Cavalry of Granada. He is the eldest son and heir apparent of His Grace Lord Francisco de Borja Queipo de Llano Fernández de Villavicencio (1956), Grandee of Spain, Count of Toreno, and current head of the House of Queipo, a noble family. Borja Queipo’s mother Macarena Campomanes is world and European golf champion (amateur). His grandfather was governor of Navarra, great-grandfather was the city Mayor of Madrid and Prime Minister of Spain. His second great-grandmother was the Princess of Anglona of the Borja Family (also known as Borgia). They have a very long history of many different noble seats, politicians, religious leaders, diplomats, military leaders, and businessmen in Spanish History since the early 1200s.

Borja Queipo works with his stepfather Javier Basagoiti Miranda, at his company InBest real estate. (InBest is a billion dollar real estate fund in Spain and Portugal founded in 2008). Borja Queipo studied at the Universities of Greenwich, Oxford, and the London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom. Prior to university, he attended boarding school at Loretto School in Edinburg, Scotland. Jaff and Excmo. Don Francisco de Borja Queipo met at a gala in Switzerland six years before tying the knot. They now reside in between their homes in San Diego and Madrid.

Borja Queipo, a Grandee of Spain (this title is equivalent to Duke in The U.K.), and is also a Marquess. Hanna Jaff by marriage is now titled The Most Excellent Marchioness of Guadiaro or Lady Hanna. She can also be styled as Your Grace or Excellency, and addressed My Lady.

Hanna Jaff now a Marchioness and heiress to a Countess was born on November 4, 1986. She is an American-born Mexican-Kurd television personality, politician, philanthropist, conference speaker, human rights activist, and author. Jaff holds a Master’s Degree in Arts, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and minors in Political Science and Criminal Justice. She studied at the National University (California) in San Diego, Harvard University in Boston, Columbia University in New York, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, and La Sorbonne the University of Paris.

Hanna, Marchioness of Guadiaro was a former politician in Mexico in the Institutional Revolutionary Party between 2013-2018. She is also a philanthropist and founder of the Jaff Foundation for Education, a nonprofit organization, created on June 4, 2013. The foundation has hosted more than 180 charity events worldwide, benefiting more than 120,000 people. Hanna founded a clothing line: We Are One Campaign in support of war victims in the Middle East. Jaff has been a speaker for three Tedx Talks and in over 70 universities, schools, and institutions around the world. She authored a self-taught English learning book for Spanish speakers and translated it for Purepecha, Kurdish, and Dari speakers.

In June 2021, UNESCO MGIEP recognized Jaff as Kindness Ambassador, in the #KindnessMatters Global Campaign. Forbes magazine has named her one of 100 Mexico’s most powerful women in 2019 and 2022.

Jaff in the past, has been proposed to six times and engaged three. This is her second marriage.

Francisco de Borja Queipo family tree is one of the oldest Spanish houses. It starts in the 1200s and after marriage in the 18th century and the descendants, the House of Queipo was incorporated with the House of Borgia or spelled in Spanish “Borja” and comes down from the female line by Princess of Anglona y Esquilache, María Josefa de la Soledad and descends through her great-grandson Francisco de Borja Queipo de Llano and Gayoso de los Cobos. Since 1840, all of his descendentes have the ‘de Borja’ name attached before Queipo. Their decedents alive today is Excmo. Don Francisco de Borja Queipo de Llano, Count of Toreno and his son Excmo. Don Francisco de Borja Queipo, Marquess of Guadiaro. This is just one of the many interesting family lines the House of Queipo.

Hanna Jaff’s line is just as old descending from the Jaff tribe a noble family that dates back to the early 1100s.
